Do you know where the most innovative minds are?

Spoiler: They're probably closer than you think.

As the leader of change and innovation projects, I enjoy speaking to like-minded innovators. → That's how the OpenDoorInnovation community was born.

And as we are curious, we love to ask our community what's their story - which sector are they innovating. → That's exactly what we did with a recent survey.

For sure, in this world, where tomorrow is nothing like today, every single sector needs a healthy dose of innovation. Some of them - facing real challenges and opportunities - need a whole lot more.

↳ Think 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵: new challenges such as cybersecurity threats, ethical issues around AI, or the need for more sustainable practices. You definitely need innovation to stay on top of these topics.

↳ Similarly, in 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲: as a patient, I can only support that the sector focuses on developing new treatments and medical devices that can significantly enhance patient care.

↳ And just because it's election year: we all want more transparency in how our governments operate. The 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 needs innovation.

Well, guess what? Our (totally informal) survey among the #OpenDoorInnovation community shows that innovators are coming from these sectors – and for good reason!

It's clear that alongside the day-to-day work, we have to carve out space to find better ways forward. In tech, healthcare, public sector - and beyond.

When I need to brainstorm about new ways, I definitely ask my lovely colleague and fellow hashtag#OpenDoorInnovation fan, Annika. Just like on this sunny day, pictured some weeks ago.

And you - where do you innovate?
